Arnold's Jewelry offers CZ giveaway to those who have lost their job or home

SHELBY - Looking for a Valentine's Day present but your budget is a little tight?
How about a free gift from Arnold's Jewelry? Conditions apply, but this is one instance where tough times can help out.
The first 100 people who present proper identification and verifiable proof of job or home loss will receive a sterling silver pendant with cubic-zirconia hearts - one per household.
Thirty-eight members of the Independent Jewelers Organization - some in the United States, some in Canada - are participating in the giveaway.
"We've all banded together to do this as a Valentine's Day experience, you might say, because of the times and to give back to the community," an Arnold's employee said Tuesday. "Maybe someone might not be able to afford a piece of jewelry for Valentine's Day. This is just something people could have that they maybe couldn't have in the first place."
